Taxi Paris to Italy: the essentials
Reaching Italy from Paris means crossing the Alps: the Fréjus or Mont Blanc tunnel depending on the destination, tunnel toll included in the price. Turin is the closest city at 780 km, Rome the furthest at over 1,400 km, from €2,114. Italian historic centres are governed by ZTL restricted zones: we drop off at the edge of the zone, or at the address if access is permitted.

Worth knowing before you book
In winter, Alpine passes can close and tunnels sometimes run single-lane alternating traffic: we check the state of the crossings before leaving and adapt the route, without changing the agreed price. Turin and Milan can be done within the day; Rome, Naples or the Adriatic coast call for a night departure or a second driver. Valid identification is mandatory for every passenger — Italy is in Schengen, but checks remain possible.
The journey crosses a border: every passenger needs valid identification. The vehicle is insured for international travel.

What documents are needed for this journey?
A valid national identity card or passport for every passenger, children included, as soon as the journey crosses a border. For the United Kingdom a passport is mandatory and identity cards are no longer accepted. For Switzerland, outside the European Union, customs control is real. Check expiry dates before booking: it is the one thing we cannot sort out on the day of departure.
Are tolls and fuel included in the price?
Yes, along with tunnel tolls, foreign motorway vignettes and the vehicle's empty return leg. The amount quoted is what you pay on arrival. Not included are the driver's hotel nights on very long distances and waiting time on site if you ask for the car to stay with you: both are priced separately and stated before booking.
How many people and how much luggage can travel?
One to four people with three large suitcases in a sedan, up to seven people in a Mercedes V-Class van. The price is for the vehicle, not per passenger: with four of you it splits four ways. If you are carrying bulky items — skis, an instrument, professional equipment — say so when booking: we can remove a row of seats to double the load space.
